The Town of Wembley is seeking applications for a SEASONAL CLASS 3 DRIVER/EQUIPMENT OPERATOR with the possibility of long-term employment. The Operator will be responsible for removal of snow with a plow truck, sander, and operation of various equipment.
Main duties included but not limited to:
- Operation of the Tandem Plow/Sander combo truck
- Operation of front-end loader
- Operation of Skid steer
- Operation of Grader
- Maintenance of the equipment
- Weekend work where snow and ice accumulate
- Hauling snow when removal is taking place
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 drivers’ licence with Q endorsement
- Standard First Aid
- Equipment operation experience (with valid tickets would be an asset)
- Drivers abstract
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Team Player
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to work non-traditional hours
